Do you rent instruments for school Band and Orchestra?
We do! All rentals start at $25.95 and include a three month trial of your instrument, a school approved lessons book, music stand, and care kit. After your three month trial, all pricing moves to a month to month fee. Please call us at 570-424-6040 to get information on how to set up your rental today.
Can I get my instrument repaired there?
We have a repair tech for band instruments that does weekly pick ups and drop offs. Pick ups and drop offs generally happen twice a week. Give us a call at 570-424-6040 for more information.
We also have a guitar and amp repair shop right next door. The guys at Ant Farm Music are great for those types of repairs and can be reached at 570-517-0311.
Do you offer music lessons?
We do! Lessons are $25.00 per half hour and are private one on one lessons. We teach most ages and all levels! All lessons have to be paid by cash or check directly to the teacher. All of our teachers make their own schedules so give us a call at 570-424-6040 and we will happily provide you with their name and number to reach out, or take your name and number to pass along to them.
Are prices negotiable? Do you price match?
Big Bug Music does not price match. We offer competitive pricing which is based off of surrounding chain stores or Market Approved Pricing. We have a no haggle policy and strive to offer you the best possible price we can offer.
Will you buy my used instrument?
We are happy to look at any items in the store. We do not provide prices over the phone. We buy at a wholesale price, but you can bring in items for us to look at. Your best days to bring in items are Monday through Friday from 12 - 5:30.
What Holidays are you closed for?
New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Mother's Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Limited hours on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.
